After a number of petty thefts and a face-to-face midday robbery, the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management is locking the third and fourth floors that house professor and administrative offices for safety and security reasons. A long-standing sign on the third floor door states that individuals without a business purpose may be asked to leave, as well as âÄúOccupants May Be Asked to Show University ID.âÄù Under this policy, we are required to carry and produce our papers to prove legitimate status on the floor.
