A popular University of Wisconsin-Madison sports bar will soon open a new location in Dinkytown. 

The Kollege Klub, a historic bar notorious on the Madison campus that has existed since 1953, will expand to the University of Minnesota campus this summer. The exact date is not yet known. 

The bar announced the expansion in a post on its Instagram account Wednesday. According to the biography on the Instagram page for its new Dinkytown location, the bar will be located on the corner of 4th Street Southeast and 13th Avenue Southeast. The site previously housed The Library Bar & Grill and The Pourhouse, and has been vacant since September. 

The Kollege Klub joins Blarney Pub & Grill, the Kitty Cat Klub, Loring Bar & Restaurant and Burrito Loco in Dinkytown’s bar scene.
