Minnesota soccer will travel to Georgia this weekend to play University of Georgia at 7 p.m. Friday, and Kennesaw State at 1 p.m. Sunday.
After opening the season with a 4-0 win against South Dakota State last week, the Gophers moved up two spots on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) top-25 poll. Now ranked 17th, Minnesota will take on the 16th ranked Bull Dogs for the first time. The Sunday matchup against Kennesaw State will also be a first for the Gophers.
Minnesota and Georgia both have 1-0-0 records after their season openers, while Kennesaw State sits at 0-1-0. Georgia defeated Kennesaw state last week with a 6-0 victory.
