Drivers heading from the University of Minnesota campus to St. Paul wonâÄôt be able to use the Huron Boulevard ramp to get on Interstate 94 from Sunday, Oct. 2 to Oct. 12.
The ramp will be closed for more than a week as the Minnesota Department of Transportation makes improvements.
In an email to the University, Parking and Transportation Services detailed the detour to get onto eastbound I-94 while the Huron ramp is closed:
-east on University Avenue
-south on Eustis Street
-east on Franklin Avenue
-onto the east bound I-94 ramp at Franklin and Highway 280
PTS warned that the detour will likely be crammed due to Central Corridor light rail construction on campus, and encouraged drivers to find alternate routes to St. Paul.
