Those with a stake in the Central Corridor light-rail project will gather Saturday and Sunday to address their concerns about the line. Attendees of the Central Corridor Summit will draft a community statement, which will serve as a written agreement among governmental entities, community members, businesses and organizations to manage efforts and hold everyone included accountable. Anyone who is concerned about the proposed light-rail line and has suggestions or solutions is encouraged to attend, and activities include work groups on problems and solutions, and the drafting of a final community statement. The event will take place at the Central Corridor Resource Center on University Avenue from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Saturday, and a final version of the community statement will be passed on Sunday afternoon.
