A story in Tuesday’s Daily, “Professor wants to humanize school, society,” misstated Jerry Buckanaga’s marital status. Buckanaga is single. The article also misstated a reason Native Americans on the White Earth Reservation opposed Buckanaga. Opponents wanted a curriculum that did not teach Native American culture.
