Rapper Lil Yachty will come to campus as part of the annual Spring Jam concert on April 21.
DJ Cashmere Cat and singer Ella Mai will join the Atlanta rapper as the concert’s main performers. The opening act will be the winner of the Battle of the Bands on April 20.
The University of Minnesota Student Unions and Activities office announced the lineup Monday morning.
Lil Yachty was rumored to be the main act after SUA tweeted a picture of his silhouette on March 26.
In 2017, the lineup consisted of ASAP Ferg, Jon Bellion and Bad Bad Hats.
Along with the concert, Spring Jam will offer food vendors, fair rides, games and music from the University’s Electronic Dance Music Club.
The event will be held on April 21 at Lot 37 near 3M Arena at Mariucci from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at $20 for students and $40 for the public.
