A far-reaching Ugandan anti-pornography law banning revealing clothing has triggered protests in the country, according to The Independent.
The ban outlaws cleavage and miniskirts, defined as any clothing that’s revealing above the knee.
Women took to Uganda’s street in protest of the law and recent skirmishes with police. According to BBC, a woman was manhandled by officers and told her dress was not appropriate. There are also reports of men undressing women wearing clothes deemed indecent in the street.
