Stupid criminals – ironic crimes.

Every couple days when I go to City Hall to look through police reports, I have to decide what people should, and want, to hear about. I’m pretty sure that this isn’t something people should know about, but I found it ironic.

Early morning on Thursday, March 5, a 22-year-old man was issued a citation in Dinkytown for urinating on an electrical box. He was released at the scene.

Oh, the irony – a man got a citation for doing something potentially harmful (not to mention painful) to himself.

On a light note, a man turned in a Wells Fargo check card and a Verizon wireless rebate card to Minneapolis police after he found them lying around on Huron Boulevard Southeast. That’s Minnesota nice right there.
