Minnesota’s rowing team heads to Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday for a regatta with Ohio State, Indiana and Southern California.
It is the first time in program history that the Gophers enter a regatta ranked in the national poll, as they earned the 19th spot in the polls after a sweep of then-No. 15 Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, on April 2.
The Gopher figure to move up in the rankings with a strong showing Saturday, as both the Buckeyes and Trojans are also ranked.
Men’s golf at Purdue
Minnesota’s men’s golf team plays in the Boilermaker Invitational Saturday and Sunday in West Lafayette, Ind.
The Gophers have just one more meet before the Big Ten Championships in May.
