“Here, there, and everywhere, hip, hip, so hip to be square,” Elmo sang in ode to his durable late-seventies Plymouth. He knew it would start today. Elmo had a fleet of older American cars and was tempted to take his older orange Dodge today. But, anticipating the opportunity to assist young weather impettes with their car troubles, he chose the boxy, sexier, Plymouth. This will be a profitable week for Elmo, as today promises lows in the single digits and highs in the low 20s. Elmo flipped the station and sang aloud, “Tu-u-uesday a-a-fternoon,” adding his own lyrics, “I will be raking it in,” because he knew that Tuesday would be windy and cold, with highs in the upper teens to lower 20s.
