STOP THE PRESSES: Paul “Graceland” Simon will be performing at First Avenue’s mainroom. Yep, you heard it right. Following his sold-out show at the Convention Center, Simon will be taking the stage at Twin Cities’ legendary nightclub on Tuesday, May 3rd. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking. What in the name of Mrs. Robinson are you talking about, Ghav? Believe me, I double-checked my calander and it turns out April Fools Day already happened people. So either this is some sick prank cooked up by a horribly bored staff or the coolest thing to happen to Minneapolis’ music scene since Mayor Rybak crowd surfed at that “Rock for Democracy” show a few years back (Come on, could you ever see Bloomberg doing that?).
Anyway, there’s probably a better chance of Dr. Dre releasing “Detox” this year than you acquiring tickets for this show but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try, right? Check all the deets below:
