The RNC 8 will go to trial together, just as they had hoped. The eight individuals, who are being charged with multiple felony counts for allegedly plotting to disrupt the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul more than a year ago, made the request for a joint trial in October, which the group said better represents their solidarity. A date has not yet been set for the next hearing.
