It’s been a good year for Grimes, a.k.a. Canadian musician Claire Boucher. Indie pop’s Manic Pixie Dream Girl was thrown into the hype stratosphere last January with the release of her breakout third album “Visions.” After widespread acclaim, a spring tour, and a performance at SXSW, Grimes is finishing off her banner year with a slew of festival gigs, a Canadian tour with Skrillex and Diplo and a just-announced headlining tour with Myths and local duo Elite Gymnastics.

The electro producers opened for Grimes when she played the Entry back in March, and their chillwave-via-K-Pop sound should match up well with Grimes and Myths when the tour comes through First Avenue October 22. We’re just hoping that Grimes arrives in a bus this time.
