It’s true what they say: When one door closes, another one opens. OPM Boutique, a fixture in the Twin Cities boutique scene since 2008, announced that it will be closing its doors by March 16. OPM will now focus its efforts on becoming an online-only retailer. You still have time to get great deals on designer merchandise. The store will be hosting a giant final sale with up to 40 percent off all items. On a more positive note, Primp boutique will be adding a fourth store to Minneapolis this March. The “cheap chic” boutique, which currently has three locations throughout the metropolitan area, has made quite the impression on Twin Cities shoppers, gaining over 30,000 likes on its Facebook page since 2010. The newest boutique will be located in Minneapolis’ Nokomis neighborhood at 48th and Chicago. Primp’s clothes and accessories, which range from $20-100, are both trendy and affordable — perfect for a college student’s budget.
