A University of Minnesota Law School professor was arrested Friday on suspicion of criminal sexual conduct, among other accusations.
The law professor was arrested by U.S. Marshals Friday on probable cause criminal sexual conduct, false imprisonment and harassment and/or stalking, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office jail roster.
He remained in jail as of 4 p.m. Monday.
No other details were immediately available. The Minnesota Daily is not naming the professor because he hasn’t been charged with a crime yet.
In an statement, a University spokesman said the University has been made aware of the arrest, but hasn’t had an opportunity to discuss the matter with the accused professor.
