We celebrate our mothers and fathers. We celebrate our birthdays. We celebrate America. So who says we can’t celebrate the distilled fermented grains that propel our very youthful vitality? No one. This Saturday (10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. at the Grainbelt Brewery) celebrating beer will carry brewers and cold-beverage enthusiasts from across the nation together for an outdoor festival on the banks of the mighty Mississippi. In addition to providing an excuse to day drink, the event functions as a showcase of Autumn beers from both local and national breweries. There will be tastings (even non-alchololic offerings for your responsible sober drivers), live music, food vendors, competitions, all the makings of day well Saturday well spent. Tickets for the first session of the review, which runs from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. are still available at $30 a pop. That includes unlimited beer samples. Sample responsibly!
