Rep. Phyllis Kahn, DFL-Minneapolis, is filing an ethics complaint with Rep. John Persell, DFL-Bemidji, against Rep. Dennis McNamara, R-Hastings, following an incident in McNamara’s office last month, according to the Star Tribune.
McNamara began yelling at Kahn and a representative from the Minneapolis Parks Board while they were in his office, according to a press release from Kahn’s office.
In the release, Kahn said she had reached out to house leadership to ask for an apology. However when no action was taken Kahn decided to file an ethics complaint
The Pioneer Press reports that the dispute arose after McNamara began to focus on the Park Board becoming less involved with his family business, a nursery that sells trees to the city.
