Minnesota’s wrestling team announced its 2005-06 schedule, with home duals against rivals Iowa State and Iowa and a road dual against Oklahoma State. The venues for the Gophers’ seven home matches have yet to be determined.
Minnesota opens the season Nov. 12 at the Bison Open in Fargo, N.D., followed by the UNO Open on Nov. 19 in Omaha, Neb., and the Northeast Duals on Nov. 26 in Albany, N.Y.
Pair are ITA Scholars
Minnesota women’s tennis players Shelby Rohrer and Danielle Mousseau have been named Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athletes.
Rohrer, a senior, was also an Academic All-Big Ten selection.
Big Ten All-Stars 5-0
Minnesota women’s basketball junior Liz Podominick and the Big Ten All-Stars finished their tour of the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg 5-0.
Podominick averaged 10 points and 4.2 rebounds, shooting 66.7 percent from the field.
