COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) âÄî Stephen Schultz scored the game-winning goal with 9:45 remaining as Colorado College beat Minnesota 5-3 Saturday, completing its first sweep in four months. The Tigers’ victory follows their 4-3 win Friday over the Gophers. In Saturday’s game, the teams were tied 2-2 going into the third period. Brian McMillin scored for Colorado College (16-9-8, 12-8-5 Western Collegiate Hockey Association) from just inside the goal line to beat Minnesota goalie Alex Kangas. Cade Fairchild then tied the game for Minnesota off passes from Patrick White and Ryan Flynn. Schultz tipped in a rebounded shot for the game-winning goal. Minnesota (13-11-6, 10-10-4) outshot the Tigers 37-19 for the game.
