The University of Minnesota's co-ed club tennis team competed at the USTA Tennis on Campus National Championships this weekend in Cary, N.C., placing sixth in the Silver Bracket.
The team won four of seven matches overall and fell to Texas A&M 24-23 in the fifth-place match of the Silver Bracket, which was composed of teams that finished second in their respective pools.
In Thursday's pool play, Minnesota defeated North Colorado 25-18 and Louisiana State 30-14 before losing to Texas 26-22.
In the Silver Bracket, it defeated Brown 25-19 before falling to North Carolina 27-22.
North Carolina won twice more to claim the Silver Bracket crown, while California-Berkeley won the national title in the Gold Bracket.
