Friday: “City Pages 40th Birthday Party”
Don’t the people who for write City Pages seem so fun? Don’t you just want to hang out with them? And also write for them? So so badly? On Friday you (I) can celebrate the beloved Twin Cities’ publication’s 40th birthday with a dance party at First Avenue. Naturally, the night’s theme will take us right back to CP’s babyhood: 1979.

CULTURE TO CONSUME
Drink this: Fair State Co-op hard water
If you’re planning on spring jamming this weekend, you might need the perfect drink. White Claws are too obvious these days … what about something local? Fair State hard water is great — try the hibiscus and orange zest flavor.
Wear this: Linen
Pull out those linen long sleeves and pants. Or short sleeves? Shorts? Dresses? Hats? Jumpsuits? Oh linen! There’s nothing better for the weather, or better at all.
Listen to this: “Cuz I Love You”
You heard, right? Lizzo’s major label debut album, “Cuz I Love You,” was released last Friday. It’s as good as you’d imagine, and it has “Jerome.” She really, truly, loves us!
