As promised, here is the list of MN Fashion week runway shows. Do yourself a favor: abandon a tiresome night out in Dinkytown and get glamorous. A lot of these events are FREE (zero dollars) so no excuses.
Thursday, Sept. 29: Kick-off party at Bar Lurcat from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Chat with some key players in the biz and enjoy some half-priced drinks.
Friday, Sept. 30: Full Fashion Panic Fashion Show- 6:30 p.m. This runway show strays away from standard ready-to-wear or couture and features alternative styles such as Lolita and Steampunk.

Location: Minneapolis College of Art and Design, auditorium room 150.
Sunday, Oct. 2: Bright Society. 2:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. Sip, snack and view some classic fashion showcased through the Historical Society. Then see local designers present garments inspired by the historical pieces. Cool concept and if you’ve never been to the Alexander Ramsey house you’re in for an even bigger treat.

Tuesday, Oct. 4: Vintage Did it First: Looks that Inspired the Runway. 7:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. Blacklist Vintage will recreate and showcase looks modeled after current trends.

Thursday, Oct. 6: Little Black Dress. 7:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. 21+. Hot new bar (Amsterdam) and a fashion show themed on a closet classic: the little black dress. See the varying interpretations from some of the most talented local designers

Friday, Oct. 7: Fresh Traditions: A Runway Show. 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. In a show that will benefit the Center for Hmong Arts and Talent, and furthermore the support of the Hmong artistic community in the Twin Cities, this even seeks to highlight both local and national Hmong designers.
