A female University of Minnesota student was the victim of an alleged sexual assault Sunday morning at an off-campus fraternity house.
The assault took place at the Chi Psi fraternity house at 1515 University Avenue Southeast, Minneapolis police Sgt. Bill Palmer said.
According to a Public Safety Alert issued by University Police on Monday evening, the incident took place between 1:00 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. The alert described the woman as a guest to the fraternity. She had become intoxicated, according to the report.
Other details, including a suspect description, are not available at this time.
This is the second sexual assault reported at a University fraternity in as many weeks. On Sept. 18, a woman not affiliated with the University was the victim of an alleged attempted assault at the Delta Kappa Epsilon house.
