The Minneapolis Convention Center will host former President Bill Clinton Thursday night at a âÄúFive Days to ChangeâÄù get-out-the-vote rally. Doors open to the public at 7 p.m., and the pre-program begins at 7:30 p.m. Senate hopeful Al Franken and Sen. Amy Klobuchar will join Clinton. According to the news release, Al Franken and presidential hopeful Barack ObamaâÄôs Minnesota campaign director Jeff Blodgett lauded ClintonâÄôs connection to the middle class. âÄúPresident Clinton has a unique understanding of what it takes to bring the change we need for middle class families,âÄù Blodgett said in the release.
