Redshirt freshman quarterback Clint Brewster, son of Gophers coach Tim Brewster, has decided to transfer for the upcoming school year.
“Clint Brewster has decided to transfer,” Tim Brewster said in a statement. “I respect and admire Clint’s decision to further his education and play football elsewhere.”
The quarterback has yet to comment on his decision (i.e. where he will transfer). Clint Brewster’s choice to transfer has been debated for some time – even by his father. With sophomore Adam Weber already deemed the starter with three years of eligibility left and incoming athlete Marquis Gray looking to play as well, Clint Brewster’s future with the team was uncertain.
Now that future is decided – it will continue somewhere else.
