Authorities on  Tuesday searched the home of longtime Subway spokesman Jared Fogle, seizing electronics from the home, CNN reports.

FBI agent Wendy Osborne told Associated Press reporters the FBI had been investigating the affluent Zionsville, Indiana neighborhood, but did not say the nature of the investigation

Fogle became famous in 2000 after the restaurant released ads claiming he lost 245 pounds after a year of exercise and dieting involving Subway’s sandwiches, according to CNN.

Subway said in a statement to the Associate Press that it believed the raid may be related to a prior investigation of former Jared Foundation employee Russell Taylor. The former executive director was charged in May with seven counts of producing child pornography, according to CNN.

"We are shocked about the news and believe it is related to a prior investigation of a former Jared Foundation employee. We are very concerned and will be monitoring the situation closely," Subway said in a statement to ABC news. They later announced that they had cut ties with Fogle.
