Colton Iverson was dressed and warmed up, but didn’t play in the Gophers’ loss to Michigan.
Coach Tubby Smith said after the game that he hurt his shoulder in practice on Thursday going after a loose ball and colliding with a pole. Michigan is an athletic team that may not have fit Iverson well, anyway.
"They’re a three-point shooting team and we did dominate the boards, so I’m not sure how much of a difference he could’ve made," Smith said. "It would’ve been tough on him to guard some of their perimeter guys. They really don’t have a true center. … That creates a problem for him."
