Hassan Mead and Steph Price were again named Big Ten Cross Country Runners of the Week. This is Mead’s second time acquiring the accolade this season and Price’s third.

Both Mead and Price competed at the Adidas Invitational in Madison, Wis., over the weekend. Mead placed fifth overall in the men’s race with a time of 23 minutes, 31 seconds. Price placed 16th in the women’s race with a time of 20 minutes, 27 seconds. Both were the first Big Ten finisher in their respective races. 

The Gophers men’s cross country team also moved up to 12th in this week’s national rankings. The women’s team was dropped from the rankings after sitting at No. 21 a week ago.
