Shortly following the announcement that the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament would be cancelled, Gophers athletics announced the women’s gymnastics meet scheduled for Saturday March 14 at 2:30 p.m. against Oklahoma will not be played over growing concern of COVID-19.
The meet will not be rescheduled.
This announcement comes a day after the University announced that no fans would be in attendance at any upcoming Gophers home events.
The highly anticipated event had sold out prior to the announcement.
