Was it really necessary for the University DFL to drive a bus through the Homecoming parade Saturday? I find this to be very hypocritical. I mean for a party that is so concerned about global warming and reducing our carbon emissions, I feel that the bus was quite excessive. But then again this is the party of Al Gore, who gets up in front of thousands of people and preaches about global warming, and then the next minute gets in his Chevy Suburban to take him to his private jet. If the liberals want to be taken seriously about global warming I suggest they park the bus and jet and buy a Prius. Brian J. Theis University student
