I would like to express my deep disappointment in the Minnesota Daily for its continued inability to fairly and equally report on Minnesota athletics.

The University of MinnesotaâÄôs MenâÄôs Rugby team hosted the University of Wisconsin-MadisonâÄôs  team in a heated match at the TCF Bank Stadium on Saturday with an audience of 4,000 people.

Yet the Daily did not see fit to contact us until four hours before the event when the entire staff and team were already at the stadium and warming up.  

We work hard to represent our school with no scholarships or free housing. We play because we love our sport. I hope that one day the Daily will understand that football and basketball are not the only sports which merit attention. The priority given to these sports at the expense of smaller sports like rugby is fairly insulting.
