Former Gophers linebacker Damien Wilson was arrested Tuesday in Frisco, Texas with two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a Frisco City Jail spokesperson said Wednesday.
Wilson was arrested in the parking lot of Toyota Stadium on Tuesday.
He was released after posting a $10,000 bail for each charge for a total of $20,000, according to Frisco Police Department Officer Ryan Chandler.
Wilson was a fourth-round draft pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 2015 after leading the Gophers in tackles and tackles for loss his senior year. He transferred from Jones County Community College to play two seasons for Minnesota from 2013 to 2014.
Wilson started six games for the Cowboys last season. He is in his third season with Dallas.
