Senior Rudy Radocaj helped the Minnesota women’s track team to a one point victory in Oregon on Saturday.
Her 187-feet, 6-inch javelin throw shattered a 13-year record held by Heather Berlin (183-2, 1995), which also surpasses an Olympic A qualifying standard.
The Gophers edged host Oregon by a single point for the team title.
“We feel good about where we are right now as a team,” head coach Matt Bingle said in a release. “This was really our first solid test of the outdoor season and, despite less than ideal weather conditions, we had some very good performances.”
