For the first time since November, the Gophers men's basketball team is not ranked in the Associated Press Top 25.

Minnesota, ranked No. 18 a week ago, lost at Michigan State on Wednesday and dropped a home game to Illinois on Sunday.

Once ranked No. 8 in the country, Tubby Smith's group is 2-6 in its last eight games after starting the season 15-1 and 3-0 in the Big Ten. Smith's February record is 3-15 in the last three seasons.

Indiana remained at No. 1 despite a loss to Illinois on Thursday. Michigan fell one spot to No. 4 after an overtime loss to Wisconsin on Saturday. Michigan State (8), Ohio State (13) and Wisconsin (20) round out the Big Ten's top teams.
