The Gophers volleyball team climbed from No. 14 to No. 11 in Monday's American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.

Minnesota beat Nebraska, which dropped one spot to No. 10, in five sets Friday and swept unranked Iowa on Saturday.

Penn State, the newly crowned Big Ten conference champion, regained the No. 1 position. Stanford and Texas are second and third in the nation, respectively.

Ohio State, which is tied with the Gophers and Nebraska for second in the Big Ten, moved up one ranking to No. 14.

The Gophers will play at unranked Wisconsin on Wednesday and unranked Indiana on Saturday to close out the conference season. Selections for the NCAA tournament will be announced Sunday.
