The Buckeyes are the consummate perfectionists. After breezing by Northwestern last week, Ohio State is still searching for its “best game,” as coach John Cooper put it. Cooper may not want to hold his breath for this one, as Indiana will not fall down very easily. Hoosiers’ quarterback Antwaan Randle El continues to amaze with his ability to create plays and raise the performance level of his teammates. WR Tyrone Browning is averaging over 18 yards a catch despite being constantly double teamed. DE Adewale Ogunleye (12 tackles-for-loss, six sacks) has emerged as one of the best pass rushers in the Big Ten. Well, Ohio State has some weapons, too. WR David Boston (46 receptions, 791 yards) and RB Michael Wiley (786 yards) are in the process of cementing themselves as top-15 picks in next year’s NFL Draft. Don’t forget about linebackers Na’il Diggs and Andy Katzenmoyer, who will look to make Randle El a live target all game. A lot of points, no defense? Welcome to the new Big Ten.
