On a Minnesota Public Radio interview Thursday, Tom Emmer was content to talk with Kerri Miller only in generalities about his platform—if, in fact, he has one. The Republican gubernatorial candidate refused to offer specific details of his plans for reforming government, even when pressed by Miller, and listeners, i.e. voters, who called-in.
Whether you support him, we can all agree the candidate on the ballot for one of Minnesota’s two major parties should clearly articulate vision for Minnesota’s future instead of just “asking questions,” as Emmer put it, about existing structures of Minnesotan government.
