Why does the existing Central Corridor transit way, connecting the University of Minnesota St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses, bypass neighborhoods and serve parking lots? North of University Avenue, where the University of Minnesota operates its parking lot shuttle, thereâÄôs virtually no public transit service. WouldnâÄôt all the residents, businesses and institutions north of University Avenue rather have access to public transit than a continuous stream of buses running back and forth between parking lots?
