Minnesota claimed a 2-1 victory over Wisconsin in overtime after coming from behind.
Wisconsin scored the first goal of the game but the Gophers answered back with junior Angie Olson in the second half.
Knotted up at 1-1, the Badgers made a cruicial mistake in overtime that opened up a penalty kick for the Gophers. Junior Katie Bethke got in net on the kick to defeat Wisconsin. Bethke has been leading the team in goals this season, now with seven.
Minnesota advances to 8-2-2 overall and 2-0-1 Big Ten. The Gophers will head back home to host South Dakota Sunday at 1 p.m.
