Sen. Norm Coleman’s lead has shrunk from more than 700 on Wednesday morning to just 238 in his — for lack of a better word — insanely close senate race against Democrat Al Franken. Experts and pundits agreed when the unofficial recount was to take place the margin would widen and shrink as the votes were looked over, but since Wednesday it’s gone completely the way of challenger Franken. The most important point is this: Coleman’s lead has now shrunk more since Wednesday than his margin of “victory” currently stands at. The question is, how low will it go? Well, we’ll see sooner or later.
