A bank robbery occurred around 3 p.m. Monday at U.S. Bank’s Stadium Village location at 718 Washington Ave. SE, according to a Minneapolis Police Department report.

An investigation into the incident is still active and few details have been made public at this time. 

“Male came into U.S. Bank and took money from the institution,” according to the MPD report.

A spokesperson for U.S. Bank said the organization’s “top priority is the safety, security and protection of our employees and customers.”
