Friday: Cat Bingo at The Cafe Meow
On every first Thursday of the month, The Cafe Meow hosts a free bingo night (affectionately called ‘Catgo’). With the Fourth of July this Thursday, the event has been moved to Friday, so you can start your weekend off with a night of cats and friendly competition.
The Cafe Meow is one of the first cat cafes in Minneapolis, with half of their store dedicated to a lounge where patrons can pay an hourly rate to cuddle rescue cats available for adoption. Arrive at around 6 p.m. to get your bingo card because spots fill up quickly!

Saturday: Little Mekong Night Market
Inspired by the night markets of Southeast Asia, the annual Little Mekong Night market is taking place this year in the heart of the Asian business and cultural district in St. Paul.
The market seeks to celebrate the diversity and cultural mix of the Twin Cities through food, tradition and art.

Want to enjoy women’s soccer on the “largest screen that Matthews Park has to offer”? Head to the park for the big moment soccer fans have been waiting for. After beating England in the semifinal yesterday, the United States will play either Sweden or the Netherlands, based on the result’s of today’s match. Bring a blanket, your pals and your loudest cheering voice.
