Mill City Nights, recently known as The Brick, will be hosting Deerhoof on Sunday. (While I have not been to the remodeled venue, extensive renovations have been made according to this City Pages blog). The quirky quartet will most likely impress if the set is anything like the 30 minute thrill ride that is their newest album, "Breakup Song." If any one song does not quite suit your fancy, don't worry about it, as Deerhoof is seldom caught over-examining any theme that they decide to explore and incorporate. Joining them will be Brooklyn duo Buke and Gass and another duo, this time local, Bloodnstuff.
