Elmo sat in the coffee shop reading one of his favorite parts of the Daily, the A&E. It was a ragged copy he found on the floor. Elmo was on campus Wednesdays and Fridays, so he wasn’t able to get A&E fresh on Thursdays when it came out; he always had to find a leftover copy. “Funny,” he thought, “I guess I’m always finding these things on the floor — even last quarter when I was on campus on Thursdays.” Elmo looked out the window, where it was mostly cloudy, about 60 and looking like rain. Tonight and tomorrow it will surely rain, he thought, and wash the pulpy remains of discarded A&Es down the gutter. “I gotta tell people about A&E,” Elmo thought. “But how?”
