Begining Monday, March 30, a portion of Como Avenue in will close for road and bridge construction for at least two months, according to the city of Minneapolis.
Como Avenue will close to all traffic from 22nd Avenue SE to 24th Avenue SE, and is expected to stay that way until May.
Several detours have been posted, including a detour for eastbound traffic from 18th Avenue SE to East Hennepin to 29th Avenue SE to Como Avenue SE.
Westbound travelers will detour on 29th Avenue SE to East Hennepin Avenue to 18th Avenue SE.
