The Big Ten is sending five teams to the NCAA soccer tournament. Minnesota is not one of them.

Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State all made the tournament field.

The Gophers failed to advance to the second round of the Big Ten tournament, falling to Illinois on penalty kicks Oct. 31 after a double-overtime tie.

Minnesota finished fourth in the Big Ten, higher than both Illinois and Wisconsin.
