The school year is coming to an end.
It’s time to celebrate with a little dancing.
Summer in the Twin Cities brings some incredible acts. If you’ve been studying hard this past year, it’s finally time to let loose.
Fear not, A&E did all of the research for you. Here are some concerts you won’t want to miss this summer.
Lucius – Live Nudes Tour
Where: The Fitzgerald Theater, 10 E. Exchange St., St. Paul
When: May 10
Cost: $35
The Brooklyn band is heading to the Fitzgerald Theater for two nights, and their beautiful duets will send chills up your spine. Their acoustic album “Nudes” was released last year and it’s what we imagine heaven sounds like. Plus, they always coordinate their outfits. It really is iconic!
The Greeting Committee
The Greeting Committee is exactly what you want your summer to sound like. Their new album “This Is It” came out last October and it comprises 40 minutes of pure happiness. Lead singer Addie Sartino has some incredible energy and seriously strong vocals.

Rock The Garden
How can you say no to The National and Courtney Barnett? At the one-day festival, these acts will be joined by other bands including local favorites Bad Bad Hats and deM atlaS. Go ahead, get your photo in front of Spoonbridge and Cherry while wearing your best festival ‘fit.

Basilica Block Party
This year we are blessed with the one and only Kacey Musgraves (yeehaw, my friends). Sharing the lineup will be Dawes, Semisonic, Jason Mraz, CHVRCHES and many more talented acts. This year’s block party will be one for the books.

Snail Mail
Not on the Snail Mail bandwagon yet? It’s certainly not too late. The band’s electric guitar-heavy tunes feature some impressive solos and melodies that easily get stuck in your head. The band’s friendship is pure and apparent on the stage, making each show feel like your own private house show.
