Gophers freshman forward Hannah Brandt was named the WCHA Rookie of the Week on Wednesday for the fifth time this season.

Brandt had a goal and two assists in Minnesota's two wins against Bemidji State last weekend.

She is second in the country with 48 points in 20 games, behind only linemate Amanda Kessel. Prior to the season, Brandt was named the unanimous WCHA Preseason Rookie of the Year.
