The Carlson School of Management will offer an undergraduate ethics and leadership course in spring 2000, officials announced Friday.
The course is the first undergraduate business-ethics class offered by the school.
“Topics in Ethics: Courageous and Ethical Leadership” will focus on the role of ethical behavior in leadership positions.
The class will emphasize learning from cases and developing effective leadership skills.
Carlson students are currently required to take a “Citizenship and Public Ethics” class through the College of Liberal Arts, but it is unknown if the class will fulfill the requirement.
For now, the course will be an elective.
